Many years ago, the Daleks sent out thousands of egg-shaped Progenitors containing the genetic coding of the race, so that new Daleks could be created whenever necessary. One of these Progenitors was found in war-torn England during the Second World War and transported to a Dalek ship. However, because the Daleks that found it had been genetically modified by their creator Davros, using his own DNA, the Progenitor did not acknowledge them as pure Daleks, until the Doctor identified them as such and the Progenitor created a new race of powerful Daleks as a result. These Daleks were led by the white-cased Supreme, the red-coloured Drones, the enigmatically titled yellow cased Eternal, blue cased Strategists and orange Scientists. This fully functional radio controlled 13î Dalek Drone includes a handset with ïDual StickÍ movement control, 10 Dalek phrases and exterminator gun sound effect, activated using the five button sound selector. Also includes an illuminated eye, poseable gun and arm.Ages 5+

enjoyable stuff! It is the big brother of the widely available 6inch rc daleks but i’m afraid bigger is definitely better!this huge fella is from character who now make all the dr who goodies for us kids (39,going on 12!) the movement is slower which is more authentic as a dalek should glide menacingly, not race around.he’s big and red (though i have seen a yellow version elsewhere) his gun and sucker are poseable and he has ten stock phrases. when he speaks his “ears” light up as they should in time with what he’s saying and in motion his head turns from side to side and eyestalk raises slightly.he has full 360 degrees motion . there are some slight down sides to him compared to the gold david tennant era daleks previously available.his voice is deeper keeping with the new daleks but this makes his speech a little harder to hear and understand.his arms are easily detatchable and i mean easily…i assume this is an elf and safety thing why theyve done this but no doubt many mums and dads will spend a while searching for the offending appendages. the controller is set out a little differently, idont like the new on/off button as my little girl managed to jam the 6inch version as it just pushes in and out rather than switch off! the voice commands are also not shown so its random pressing of buttons or a good memory to exterminate the cat. a good toy overall but not quite as good as the old/new gold version.
i bought this for my 6 year old grandson for his birthday, he loves the daleks. He especially wanted this one because it is remote controlled.
