Bow ties are cool! A new Doctor Who action figure. It depicts the eleventh Doctor as played by Matt Smith.Despite being plastic the feel and look of the tweed jacket is well replicated. And the bow tie, although also plastic, stands out nicely. The jacket can’t be moved so you don’t get to see any braces but that doesn’t really matter. The Doctor’s hairstyle is also well recreated. You can turn the head. Each arm can be moved at the hand, the elbow, the upper arm and the shoulder. The figure doesn’t turn at the waist but the legs can be moved at the top, the upper leg and the knees. It comes complete with a small plastic version of the of the sonic screwdriver which fits into the right hand quite snugly, although it’s a small piece of plastic thus the figure isn’t really suitable for those under three. It comes in a transparent box with a slightly different look to previous ones in the range, so if you just want to display it you can but you won’t be able to get it back in the box should you take it out.But this is a fine and eye catching version of the current doctor and all in all it’s a great figure and looks great on your shelves. It would be even better if it came with a fez, though. Because they’re cool as well….
