Create your own Ganger clones with the Doctor Who ‘The Flesh’ Factory. The humans of the 22nd century use clones made of The Flesh for doing dangerous jobs. We think it’s a lot more fun to mix up your Flesh material and make action figures from it. Place the skeleton into the mould, fit them into the Flesh vat, and watch the genetically-engineered bio-flesh cover the skeleton. Once it’s dry, you’ll have your own Ganger action figure that won’t become self-aware and start rebelling against you. The Flesh Factory set contains: Flesh vat playset ‘The Flesh’ material and mixing cup Ganger figure mould and skeleton Sculpting tools

Seemed like a good idea at the time… Like the other two reviews posted here I have only a mediocre experience to share. The problem for myself and my seven year old daughter wasn’t so much the quality of the end product which was fine, despite the initial mixture being worryingly lumpy, but what to do with the thing afterwards! With only one endoskeleton provided with the set, you can’t make any more figures without pulling the first one apart..! Once one figure has been created the whole thing feels a bit flat really; with a few tweaks this could be much more fun, however I suspect that as it has been designed around two episodes from the TV series, this will soon fall by the wayside.
icky My nearly 8 yr old boy really wanted this – he had fun during the short time it takes to make although was quite difficult to ‘fill’ the feet area if the mix wasn’t exactly the right consistency so had an even stranger boney footless squidy doctor clone. I thought he would be able to play with it after but its a weird slimey thing that is full of chemicals so you have to wash your hands etc after touching it. It hasn’t inspired him to make any more and i’m relieved i only paid half price for it which now seems too much for the amount of time he’s spent with it!
