It’s a Stylophone… get one! I was just browsing a gadget shop in town earlier and stumbled across this for £15. I thought to myself – this must just be for show, so I asked for a trial. It’s awesome! I picked it up straight awayThe sound is spot-on. It also features two new sounds (one is like a dirty amplified organ, which is excellent) and vibrato for a very different sound. The unit is capable of very impressive volumes – you will be able to drown out all your inferior friends with this little badboy. (Also includes headphone socket in case you don’t want to lose your friends)External input means you can plug in your MP3 player(/whatever) and jam along to your favourite tunes – the tuning knob on the back is so precise (and has a massive range) so you can really have a blast. And because it sounds so authentic, you could easily use this for recording purposes if the original Stylophone sound is what you are trying to captureMost of all – experienced or not – this thing is just damn fun to use, and everyone you know will be jealous. Buy it now!5/5
Brilliant but especailly good for musicians This may be classed as a toy, for which it serves its purpose, but also has a use as a serious musical instrument. I have been playing the piano for about 10 years, which made this very easy to pick up and play with some tunefullness instead of random sliding up and down the keyboard. It also has the great feature of being tuneable. A litte stick sunk into the back can be turned to raise and lower the pitch, enough to allow tuning to the level of any musical instrument. If taken a little seriously this can be a great way to introduce keyboarded instruments to childeren and adults alike although the tone is a little hard on the ears when played a huge amounts.Overall this is certinally a good buy for anyone with a little musical skill or for one who would like to be able to play something.
